Open AIoT

About Open AIoT

An open standard for Devices × AI — one open specification that lets any AI safely discover, understand and control devices in the physical world.

The Project

What We Are

Open AIoT is not yet another IoT platform — it is an open standard for Devices × AI: a unified capability model and protocol. Build to the standard once, and every AI platform or app can safely take control.

Origin & Reference Implementation

Open AIoT was initiated by ThingBoot, whose platform provides the first reference implementation of the standard — proving the specification works, without owning it.

Open Governance

Public specification, transparent evolution, vendor neutral. Any vendor or developer can help shape the standard through RFCs.
