RFC Index

RFCs (Request for Comments) are the only change channel of the Open AIoT specification: anyone may propose, and every discussion happens in public — open and vendor-neutral by process.

How to raise an RFC

  • Open an Issue/Discussion in the Open-AIoT organization on GitHub, stating the problem and the gist of your proposal.
  • Discuss and iterate in public; proposals involving breaking changes must include a migration note.
  • Once settled, the change merges into the spec repository and ships with the next version node.

RFC list

The current RFC list is maintained in the spec repository (Issues/Discussions act as the index); a formal index will be synced to this page as the governance process matures. Entry point: github.com/Open-AIoT

Every specification page carries a “suggest a change → RFC” link in its footer — you can raise a proposal the moment you spot an issue.
