Cursor Setup

Cursor supports MCP — connect the Open AIoT MCP server and you can query device state and trigger device actions right inside your coding workflow.

The general flow

  • Install and run your MCP server per the 5-Minute Quickstart.
  • Add your MCP server entry in Cursor’s MCP settings.
  • In a chat, ask Cursor to “list my devices” as a connectivity test.
