Kimi Setup

WIPThis tutorial is being written — basic information below; full steps will land with the corresponding repository release. Contributions are welcome on GitHub.

Kimi supports MCP and can connect directly to the Open AIoT MCP server — once connected, you can control your devices with natural language right in a Kimi conversation.

The general flow

  • Install and run your MCP server per the 5-Minute Quickstart.
  • Add your MCP server entry in Kimi’s MCP/tool settings.
  • Ask Kimi to “list my devices” as a connectivity test.

The step-by-step illustrated tutorial is being written and will land with the mcp repository releases. For the generic flow, see the 5-Minute Quickstart; per-platform integration status is on the ecosystem page.
